Here is an image I made 5 months ago, but it's still looks OK I think (probably the one I prefer in my recent production).
That's why I post it today.
Since 2 weeks (I hope not for a too long time), I can't work because of a tendon injury (hand, fingers) due to the tablet and keyboard shorcuts.
Hope you'll enjoy it.

PSD, about 6 hours, no real ref, but I was strongly influenced by Blade Runner...

I always liked the architecture of glass and metal, as in the 19 th century, and the bubble archi of Etienne Louis Boulée (a french architect of the 18 th cent, a bit utopian..)

Here is a concept that I developped in the 2D wip section.
The main goal was to work on a "desert, sunny piece" (the tones of my recents pieces were desaturated or even B&W)
The Tube was in the past a sort of ventilation, but people tore of it to create an entry...
thanx to Audit who gave me the name of the image.
No pencil sketch this time, +or-4 hours of work in PSD.

Here is a new gas station. I wanted to create another wiew of the precedent scene...and the mood changed a bit, and I came with that.
I want to precise that it's only my second painting with a tablet. I know that I have to practice, cause it takes me to much time(6 hours) but it Ok, it was fun to do.

Hi!
8 years ago, i worked a bit on film staging (decoration), in France.
With this drawing, I evoke the environment of the sf movie making.
I wanted to pay homage to people such as Grant Mc Cune, Steve Galwey, Hunter&Grazner etc...(amazing creators of scale models)
and technicians who create great images with sometimes a bit of "do it yourself".
I evoke without bitterness the great time of the last seventies(ILM for ex).

Also, I thought it was fun to enlarge the canvas to reveal the the parking area of the studio.
No real ref used (except camera), rather a mix based on
memories of my teenage readings.
